ZM Hawke's Bay (originally 77ZK Apple Radio) is a hit music radio station in Wellington, New Zealand. It is a station of the ZM network, and is owned and operated by New Zealand Media and Entertainment. The station began in 1977 as 77ZK Apple Radio. It later operated under several names, including Greatest Hits FM96, Better Music 96FM and Classic Rock 96FM, and broadcast from studios in Hastings. In the mid-1990s operations were moved to Radio New Zealand's Napier building. The station moved to its current FM frequency in 1989. The station became a temporary relay station for Radio Hauraki between July 1998 and March 1999. Radio Hauraki launched permanently three months later on 99.9. Since then, the station has operated as ZM Hawke's Bay, and has taken content from the ZM Network. Between 1989 and December 2010 the station had a relay station on 99.7 MHz in Wairoa.
